A Power Cell is required to repair a forklift before it becomes operable, but the official vehicle documentation does not describe a charge meter that drains as you drive. Do not build a hauling plan around carrying replacement "fuel" cells. Build it around the forklift's actual constraints: one seat, a 24-slot cargo box, fixed terrain access, and a designated recall point.

This guide covers the drivable forklifts found in the world. It does not treat the story forklift beside Grayson, which supports the Manufacturing blast door, as proof that every forklift is found or used in that exact story position.

Know what a repaired forklift can and cannot do

Select the right forklift for the job

The official Forklift page lists two in Manufacturing West, one in Hydroplant, one in Dunkeltaler Forest, and three in Reactors. In Manufacturing West, one is in the garage occupied by Order enemies and another is in the Order-controlled part of the Mapping Center. These are not guaranteed safe pickup points.

Editorial recommendation: Use the forklift that already lies on the same side of the sector as the materials you intend to move. Repairing a distant vehicle and then driving it across hostile terrain can cost more time than making one controlled hand-carry trip. Before using recall, remove valuable cargo unless you have directly confirmed how the current game state handles stored items during that interaction. The official source confirms the vehicle movement, not a guarantee about every loaded-item edge case. This conservative recommendation prevents a recovery tool from becoming an avoidable inventory gamble.

Decide when another transport is better

A forklift is strongest when one driver needs 24 cargo slots on a continuous ramp-and-road route. It is weaker when the group needs passenger seats, when the destination is separated by stairs, or when only a few items need moving.

The Tram also has storage but follows fixed tracks. The GATE Security Cart carries passengers and has less cargo space. A hand-carried or platform-cart load may be faster for a short interior transfer. These differences make transport selection a route decision rather than an automatic preference for the largest available box.

Use the forklift when all three conditions are true: the repair Power Cell is worth spending, the road is continuous, and the 24 slots eliminate multiple trips.
